(update June 16th, Link to ARE decision added)
The Autorité de Régulation of Mauritania has issued a new regulation through
Décision n°42/2021/AR/CNR on May 24, 2021.
Realtime confirmed that the new regulation does not impact the way the process is handled.
In order to stop the spread of Covid-19, Mauritania has implemented many measures such as closing schools and universities, shutting down many businesses and also a curfew starting from 6pm to limit social interaction and limit the spread of the virus.
Realtime collaborator in Mauritania informed us that ARE, Mauritania’s regulatory authority is still operational and conducting business as usual; however we were told to expect small delays, depending on the circumstances.
