Government of Niger announced April 11 that the country will implement a curfew and also declared that there would be a 3-month extention to the state of emergency currently in place.

Communications regulatory authority ARCEP, will be operational during this period. But type approval processes are expected to slow down as the authority has decided to reduce staff on the premises. Only 50 of employees will be working and staff rotation has been implemented.
