On 2 May 2018, ARPT published a press release reminding all importers of radio and Telecom devices of their obligations regarding type approval.
All importers have been given until 15 of May 2018 to comply which such obligations.
ARPT will be conducting market surveillance to crack fown on non approved and/or contrefeit devices. Importers that will be found non compliant should face penalties as defined in applicable regulation.
