On 2 February 2018, The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority in Kuwait, published a regulation on WIFI usage. The regulation details the approval scheme for Wifi hotspots owners and their obligations regarding user registration.
The regulation also list frequency bands used by Wifi in Kuwait as follows:
